🔒 Insurance Coverage Conditions

  • Photo ID and Date of Joining Confirmation are mandatory for all claim processing.

  • Coverage Eligibility: Only for individuals who pre-register for treks and adventure activities below 6000 meters, officially booked through The Trekkers Club. Coverage is valid only during the official itinerary period.

  • Adventure Activity Definition: Activities must be booked officially, follow governing rules, and be supervised by The Trekkers Club staff. Coverage starts from Day 1 of the itinerary and ends on the final day of the itinerary.

  • Not applicable for mountaineering treks (below or above 6000m).

📝 Enrollment and Claim Process

  • All registered trekker data will be submitted to the insurer daily.

  • In case of any claim:

    • Inform ASC360 immediately.

    • The Trekkers Club will confirm registration and itinerary.

    • Submit booking receipt (original), ID proof, indemnity bond, and proof of incident.

    • The total liability for each insured member is limited to the amount under a single UHID (Unique Health ID).

🕒 Claim Timeline

  • Claim must be reported within 7 days of the incident.

  • All supporting documents must be submitted within 30 days of the event.

  • Claims not submitted within the timeline will be automatically rejected.

📌 Additional Terms

  • Premiums are charged per trip and are non-refundable once the trek starts.

  • No premium refunds for cancellations after commencement.

  • Endorsements (policy changes) apply from the date of change, not retroactively.

🚫 Exclusions – What Is Not Covered

  • Suicide, self-harm, or mental health conditions

  • Under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or hallucinogens

  • Participation in riots, felonies, or civil disorder

  • Pregnancy, childbirth, or related complications

  • Professional sports activities or motor racing

  • Air travel (except as a fare-paying passenger)

  • Underground mining or tunneling work

  • Nuclear risk or radiation exposure

  • Pre-existing medical conditions (declared or not)

  • Flight-related delays, cancellations, or rescheduling

  • Medical evacuation without pre-approval

  • Applicable only to Indian nationals or expats working in India

  • Age limit: 1 to 70 years

⚠️ Limitation of Liability

Neither ASC360 nor The Trekkers Club will be held liable for:

  • Delays in evacuation, medical attention, or hospital admission

  • Loss of life, limb, or property arising from such delays

  • Any circumstances beyond their operational or legal control

ASC360 serves as the insurance intermediary and will handle all final claim decisions. The Trekkers Club assists but is not the insurer.

Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund if cancelled 7 days or more before the trek

  • 20% cancellation fee if cancelled 3–6 days before trek

  • 30% cancellation fee if cancelled within 48 hours

  • No refund once the trek has commenced

Terms & Conditions

🔎 Misrepresentation and Fraud

Any misrepresentation, negligence, or fraudulent act by the participant will void the insurance and relieve ASC360 and The Trekkers Club of any liability. The participant will bear full responsibility for any costs or damages.

✅ Furnishing Correct Information

It is solely the participant’s responsibility to provide accurate personal details. Losses arising from incorrect information will be the participant’s responsibility.

🌪️ Force Majeure

ASC360 and The Trekkers Club are not liable for delays or failures due to natural disasters, war, strikes, pandemics, or other uncontrollable events.

⚖️ Legal Jurisdiction

This agreement shall be governed by Indian law. All disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the Hon’ble High Court of New Delhi or Subordinate Courts in New Delhi.
